Lord and Lady Bunny: Almost Royalty is a hilarious book about when Mrs. Bunny decides she wants to be Queen. So they set off “across the pond” (which is what all distinguished bunnies call the sea), to England. At the same time, Madeline and her ex-hippie parents set off to England to work in a sweets shop they have just inherited. They meet on the cruise ship as they are all going to England.
I like this book because it is very funny! The characters are also really good.
Note from Mamma: this is a sequel to Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, Detectives Extraordinaire, which was also (according to Super Kitty) equally funny – though you can enjoy this book without having read the first. Our whole family loved this very clever story read on audiobook by the, um, translator!
